Give me something to obsess over

sparksofjaeI used to be so easily amused and entertained. Now a days I find myself bored out of my mind and apt to sleep instead of obsessing over...stuff. =T
I want to read a book with a good fantasy or sci-fi plot that DOESN'T revolve around romance but those are so hard to come by these days. As much as I love my manga and anime, I'd rather have a good book to obsess over atm.
Also my love and well-wishes go out to those in Japan and other affected countries like the Philipines.
